Dr. Toth and Dr. Green performed my two surgeries and were wonderful. The pre-surgery nurses were awesome, too. I have very difficult veins from numerous prior surgeries and Carol, a nurse, was so good that I felt no pain. The whole staff in the pre-surgery area was exceptional.

When the anesthesiologist came in, he could tell I was very nervous. I asked him if he took requests, knowing I was going to have to have another surgery two weeks later, and he said yes. He called me the night before my second surgery asking how I did with the anesthesia from the first surgery. He greeted me like he knew me. It made me feel so good to know that I was receiving great care from him, especially since I had a 23 hour stay after my second surgery.

The doctors always followed-up with me to make sure I was feeling good. One doctor even pointed out a suspicious mole that needs to be removed.

I had two nurses, Cindy and Julie, that recently graduated and they were exceptional. They were so sincere and went above and beyond to care for me. I couldn’t swallow my pills so the nurses crushed them up in applesauce for me!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Meriter. Thank you for the great care I received while I stayed at Meriter Hospital.
