My husband had a very rare, very hard to diagnosis and difficult, problem to fix.  The main artery (aorta) going to his heart tore. The celebrity John Ritter passed away from this.

My husband John Davis had the Meriter Team and with the leadership of surgeon Dr. John McVey has made a remarkable recovery! My husband was 44 at the time and appeared fit and healthy even hours earlier than the onset of this. 

There isn't a day that has gone by even one year later that we don't count our blessing for the knowledge and skills of Dr. McVey and all the other specialized members of the Meriter and UW Health Team. 

The outcomes for John Davis were very different than actor John Ritter's. We were lucky enough to have the Meriter Team!
