EMS Conference Reviews and Celebrates Cardiac Success
Meriter's Annual Fall EMS Conference November 4, 5:30 to 9 p.m., is free for pre-hospital and hospital staff
Pre-hospital Emergency Services plays a critical role in the successful treatment of cardiac patients. Meriter's annual fall EMS conference will review and recognize the outstanding EMS performance in recent cardiac cases.
Attendees of this conference will receive three National Registry Approved CEU hours and will:
- Gain an understanding of what happens in the cardiovascular lab
- Review outstanding cases that exemplify excellence in cardiac care
- Participate in recognition of EMS districts and individuals for selected areas of excellence in cardiac care
- Identify atypical signs and symptoms of myocardial infarction
- Review recognition of a "STEMI" on an ECG
- Discuss issues and trends toward continue improvements in cardiac care
A light dinner will be served.
