Your support of Surgical Care will benefit the expansion and renovation of 18 surgery suites at Meriter. The new surgery center will offer shorter waits and a more patient-focused environment.

Meriter Surgical Services provides inpatient and outpatient surgical care to nearly 10,000 patients each year. Four new and 14 renovated operating rooms will soon be available to meet the increasing demand for surgery space and innovative technology solutions.

The new surgery unit will be double the size of Meriter's current operating room space and will feature ceiling-mounted booms that house patient monitors and anesthesia supplies. These devices offer surgeons more maneuverability and greater efficiency in positioning instruments during surgery.
