Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Your support of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Meriter Hospital
helps provide a full range of inpatient mental health services and programs for
teens and children.
Children have unique mental health issues, and they respond to treatment
differently than adults. Patients of the program learn new ways to approach
their individual challenges and work with therapists, psychologist and
psychiatrists to regain their lives.
Meriter's Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Hospital is the only program in south
central Wisconsin dedicated to meeting the unique needs of children who require
psychiatric care. In 2008, thanks to donor support, Meriter was able to add
dance therapy to the treatment options available to our young patients.
