Meriter's Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) opened in May 2007, and combines a quiet, healing environment with leading edge medical and technical care. Take a look at this 30-bed unit that cares for more than 450 premature and/or ill infants each year.
Front Entrance
Meriter's NICU has 12,000 square feet devoted to patient and family care. It is located in the same wing as the Birthing Center. Here you see the front entrance of the unit.
